Miami Skate Spots | The Search For Animal Chin Continues | Yoint County

Explore Miami-area skateparks, community skate spots and practical etiquette for skating around South Florida. This guide is a resource for independent recreation, not a schedule of Miami Skate Academy lessons or paid events. Access, hours and conditions can change, so confirm details before traveling.

Respect every spot: skate only where permitted, avoid blocking pedestrians, follow posted rules and guidance from park officials, and leave the area cleaner than you found it.

Miami-Area Skate Destinations

Miami-area destinations to explore independently include:

  • Haulover
  • North Beach
  • Westwind Lakes
  • Indian Hammocks
  • Doral
  • Lot 11

Listing a destination here does not reserve space, confirm permission for a gathering, or indicate that MSA conducts paid coaching there. Check current access, hours, posted rules and any applicable requirements directly with the location before visiting.

Independent Parent-Organized Meetups

Parents of skaters in our community may independently arrange public skatepark meetups. These gatherings are 100% free to attend and entirely voluntary. Families choose which days, if any, they wish to attend. No membership purchase, event ticket or payment is required.

Parents coordinate arrangements and their children’s supervision directly with one another. MSA does not organize, lead or provide coaching at these meetups. They are not paid membership sessions, an included coaching benefit or a replacement for private sessions.

Families should follow posted park rules, applicable ordinances and guidance from park officials, and check with the relevant park authority about any permissions required for their gathering. Keep facilities shared and accessible to other patrons.

Private Coaching and Paid Events

Miami Skate Academy’s paid lessons and membership sessions take place only at the skater’s home or another authorized private location. Private memberships offer 1, 2 or 4 coaching sessions per month, with dates and locations arranged directly with the family.

Events offered for a fee through our website take place only at authorized private locations. We do not bring paid events, paid instruction or other fee-based services to public parks. This separation is part of our commitment to respecting park rules and guidance from park officials.

For private membership details and pricing, visit Miami Skate Academy. Public recreation and independent parent meetups remain separate from those paid services.

Street Spot Etiquette

  • Pick up your trash and act right.
  • Skate only where permitted and respect property owners and posted restrictions.
  • Keep paths and obstacles accessible to others. Take turns and avoid crowding.
  • Respect pedestrians, other skaters and requests from site staff.

Choose the Right Spot

Choose terrain suited to the skater’s experience, check conditions before riding and bring a helmet, water and appropriate protective gear. Confirm current site rules rather than relying on this guide as permission to use a location.
